Hi all! Here is a quick update about what you need to be thinking about. Also please check the post i made last week and make sure you have completed all of the assignments.

-Read pages in Massive Change
Post 200 words on tumblr

-What if questions for all of your ideations - post these on tumblr

-For both the group and individual project: If you haven’t already, choose one problem to pursue.

-Here are some criteria from the syllabus to help you choose:
• Review the objective.
• Set aside emotion and ownership of ideas.
• Avoid consensus thinking.
• Remember: the most practical solution isn’t always the best.
• Select the powerful ideas.

-Move 3 ideations for the chosen problem into the prototyping phase

-Create 5-7 prototypes for each ideation
This means sketching, computer mockups, models, drawings, photos, etc.

-In class will Allan you’ll work on generating these prototypes and get Allan’s feedback. When I return we’ll choose a final direction from your prototypes to begin implementing.

You’ll need to be able to explain your ideas to the class. Refer to the prototyping and visual thinking sections of business model generation.

-Dre Urhahn, one of the favela painters will also be in class when I return. He will do a short presentation, and then will informally critique your prototypes. Remember, you’ll have to have enough material to be able to clearly explain your idea to someone who isn’t familiar with it,

-You’ll also want to start sketching for the process book. Class will start to move fast now, and spring break will be soon. We will be at the end of the semester before we know it!
